We exist to help the underprivileged people of Haiti to receive basic needs such as food, education, medical, spiritual assistance, etc. while promoting the desperation of their plight for others to understand and get involved.
Introducing Haiti
Haiti is a country whose land mass is 1/6th the size of the state of Wisconsin yet has two times the population of the entire state of Wisconsin. Haiti is very mountainous and half the country is very steep and uninhabitable or tillable. Haiti is also the poorest country in the western hemisphere. Extreme poverty is the everyday existence of the Haitian people as they struggle to survive.
Current Ministries
Food Distribution Ministry
The food bag ministry provides a week’s worth of food for a household (between 4 and 10 people) enslaved to hunger and the many maladies that accompany poor nutrition. This bag includes many basic food items in the Haitian diet as well as tracts, coloring book for kids and, when available, the book of John and Romans. Even if they cannot read, they will find someone to read the materials to them.
Education Ministry
We would like to help the people of Haiti improve future opportunities with the advantage of basic education. At Institution Chretienne Mondelus De Lambert, a school that was started by Veronique Mondelus, we hope to be able to help accomplish just that. They are taught basic reading, writing and arithmetic but also French and English. This will provide open doors for their future. While at school, the children are also fed a meal. A meal that, for most of them, would be the only thing they would have to eat all day.
Evangelism Ministry
In everything we do, it is our goal is to intentionally provide those we minister to with the information necessary to find eternal life. We define salvation as what Jesus Christ secured for us in His life, death, resurrection and ascension to the right hand of God the Father.
